Description

Counselling and social work to support children, youth, adults and family/whānau who have been affected by family harm or sexual abuse.  

Age: All ages and genders

Region: Christchurch, Nelson, Hurunui, West Coast, Glen Eden (Auckland)

Description:

We are a group of 20 psychologists, therapists, counsellors and social workers aiming to support children, youth, adults and family/whānau of all genders, address the emotional harm inflicted by sexual abuse or family harm. 

Services are confidential and FREE if eligible for ACC cover.

We can also provide support for those who have caused sexual harm to others or have harmful sexual thoughts.

Other psychological services we provide include:

  • Individual and couple counselling
  • Group facilitation
  • Conflict resolution
  • Critical stress management
  • Professional supervision
  • Custody and care evaluations
  • Counselling for those affected by family violence addressing the emotional impact of trauma
  • Counselling for parents
  • Referral to other specialist services where appropriate
