Bipolar Support Group
- Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB) >
- Counties Manukau DHB Community Mental Health Services (Adult)
This group is open to all people who have lived with Bipolar Disorder/Manic Depression.
It provides an opportunity to meet people from your community who can relate to your experiences and the chance to bring together the collective wisdom of people who have had similar challenges.
Meeting others with Bipolar/Manic-Depression and sharing tips for recovery, can help you accept that a mood disorder does not define who you are as an individual.
This confidential, supportive group is held from 10am till noon, on the first Thursday of each month, in the Skylight Room at Nathan Homestead, 70 Hill Road, Manurewa.
Information relating to the diagnosis and treatment of Bipolar/Manic Depression is available at the group. There is no cost for the group or for the resources as these are provided by Counties Manukau District Health Board.
