Description

Quay Park Specialist Day Hospital is a purpose-built private surgical unit catering to the needs of our community who require day-stay and short-stay procedures. Near Auckland CBD and Auckland City Hospital, our centre has easy access to motorways and public transport.

At Quay Park we have three operating theatres, a fully equipped sterilisation department, six first stage Post Anaesthetic Care beds, second stage recovery with Lazy Boy chairs and a ward comprising four inpatient rooms.

Our private centre is an affiliated provider for Southern Cross Health Society. We treat ACC Oral & Maxillofacial, and Dental Surgery patients, and the Auckland District Health Board (Greenlane) patients.

Fees and Charges Description

It is recommended that all patients telephone Quay Park Specialist Day Hospital directly, prior to admission, to obtain an estimation of hospital charges for your operation and treatment required. Such estimates are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.

Overnight patients will be sent an estimate of their hospital charge prior to surgery. We request that payment of the estimated amount is made in advance, before admission to Quay Park Specialist Day Hospital. Settlement of the actual hospital charge will be made at the time of discharge either with a refund or a further charge, whichever is necessary.

Quay Park Specialist Day Hospital accepts cash, eftpos, and major credit cards (excluding Diners & American Express). There is a 2% surcharge on credit card payments.

Oral & Maxillofacial

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is the surgical specialty which involves the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries and defects affecting the mouth, jaws, face and neck. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons treat patients with problems such as impacted teeth, misaligned jaws, oral cancer, tumours and cysts of the jaws and facial trauma following accidents. They may also perform facial cosmetic surgery.
