The inpatient services are provided on Ward 23, Middlemore Hospital. The inpatient interdisciplinary team consists of professionals representing the following disciplines: medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, clinical psychology/ neuropsychology and social work, dieticians.

- stroke patients
- patients with other neurological involvement (for example: multiple sclerosis, Guillain Barre, hypoxic/ anoxic brain injury
