Hours

Whangarei: Monday to Friday, except if there is a regional clinic elsewhere on that day.
Kaitaia: every 3 weeks on a Thursday (ring to confirm).
Bay of Islands: every 3 weeks on a Friday (ring to confirm).
Dargaville: every 3 weeks on a Tuesday (ring to confirm).

Description

The High Risk Foot Clinic is a specialist secondary podiatry service which provides services to care for the high risk foot which includes acute diabetes related foot complications, chronic foot ulceration, foot infection and Charcot neuroarthropathy. This is achieved by comprehensive diabetic foot and wound assessments, treatment, and closely working with other health services to manage the high risk foot.

Referral Expectations

The High Risk Foot Clinic is unable to provide a nail or foot care service. Please contact the funded community podiatry service or a private podiatrist for assistance.
