About the Foundation
The Mental Health Foundation is a charitable trust that promotes mental health for all New Zealanders through its:
- National Information Service and Resource Centre that answers enquiries about mental health/illness from all over New Zealand and provides pamphlets, fact sheets, books and videos on mental health topics
- Research and advocacy and policy development activities for the rights and needs of people who experience mental illness
- Activities to counter discrimination and stigma associated with mental illness as a part of the government's Like Minds, Like Mine campaign
