Description

Awhinatia Health is located within Papakura City and is set amongst park-like surroundings.  At Awhinatia Health, the CMDHB provides a range of dedicated health services for the Manukau, Papakura, Franklin districts.  These services include:

  • Awhinatia Community Mental Health Centre
    At Awhinatia Community Mental Health Centre, we aim to provide culturally sensitive, accessible and quality mental health assessment and treatment for people experiencing a serious mental health problem, aged 18-64 years and who reside in Papakura and Franklin districts.
  • Home Health Care Services
    Home Health Care is an interdisciplinary service that forms part of CMDHB Community Services. The service is available to people in their own home or at a clinic facility, and care is provided based on an assessment of need.
  • Public Health Nurses
    Kidz First Public Health Nurses (PHNs) are registered nurses who work in schools and their communities with children, young people and their families/whanau. PHNs advocate for children, young people and their families by working alongside their families/whanau, school staff, allied health professionals and social agencies to ensure positive health outcomes.
