Tamaki Oranga Recovery Centre is a purpose-built, minimally-secure hospital to aid with the rehabilitation of men living with the effects of severe mental illness. The facility provides a 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with staff including: 25 Nurses, an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist.
Tamaki Oranga Recovery Centre is located next to the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit.

Weekends & Public Holidays: 9.00am to 8.00pm
Other times available at the discretion of the senior nurse on duty.
There are no refreshment facilities available on site. Cafe and takeaway shops are located within a short walking distance from the site.

Turn right out of MMH and continue on HOSPITAL ROAD
Turn right MANGERE ROAD, OTAHUHU
Turn right GREAT SOUTH RD, OTAHUHU
Turn left BAIRDS RD, OTARA
End: Turn left into Tamaki Oranga, 30 BAIRDS RD, OTARA, Auckland

Limited free parking spaces are available for visitors. Please observe signage that restricts parking in staff car parks as these are strictly for CMDHB vehicles only. Failure to comply may result in your vehicle being towed away.
