About Challenge Trust
Challenge Trust is a charitable organisation who specialises in delivering wellness services to over 2,000 people from Northland to Gisborne, that have been affected by mental health issues, alcohol and drug dependency, eating disorders, brain injuries and physical disabilities. We are passionate about motivating and supporting our clients by providing them with relevant support, skills, knowledge, tools and opportunities to help them live a happy and meaningful life, and our staff often go above and beyond the basic service specifications to deliver care that is tailored to address our clients’ needs as individuals. We believe in a holistic approach to wellbeing and our Recovery Pathway comprehends all aspects of a person’s life including clinical, physical, economic, environmental, spiritual and emotional health. We currently deliver;
- Residential support, from low to high needs
- Alcohol and other Drugs Treatment and Assessment
- Maori, Pacific and non descript Packages of Care (for adults, youth and the elderly)
- Community based support which reaches people in their own homes
- Respite care for youth
- Information, advocacy and support services
- Education and training
- Employment training and job placement schemes
- A Wellness Centre
- Family/whanau services
- Peer support services
- Housing options for communities facing financial distress
