Public Service

Auckland DHB Planning and Funding - Our Health 2020

Hours

Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm

Description

The Auckland District Health Board (ADHB) Planning and Funding Team, together and in partnership with providers, aim to achieve the best possible health and independence for people throughout metropolitan Auckland.

The Team interact with the health community, actively look at emerging evidence and best practice, analyse data and undertake health needs assessments to better understand the health needs of their population and maximise the efforts to lift the health of people living in the Auckland DHB catchment.

This information assists in the development of plans (including the Annual Plan and Statement of Intent plus specific Health Improvement Plans) which enable the ADHB to direct activity and funding.

All plans involve working closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of quality healthcare services within available funding. Planning and accountability documents can be found under News and Publications on our internet site.
