Burns Clinics

Weekly multidisciplinary burns clinics are held for patients under the care of the Burns Team. Patients will be assessed by the surgeon, nurse, physiotherapist and occupational therapist. As required, a social worker or psychiatric liaison staff member may also be involved. The clinics are run by the Burns Clinical Nurse Specialists. Referrals to these clinics can be made by GPs or other consultants.

Multi-Disciplinary Consultant Clinics:

• Adults Clinic - Thursdays, 2.30pm - 4.30pm, National Burn Centre, Middlemore Hospital.
• Paediatric Clinic - Alternate Mondays, 1pm - 2.30pm, Kidz First Surgical, Middlemore Hospital.
• Paediatric Clinic - Thursdays, 1pm - 2.30pm, National Burn Centre, Middlemore Hospital.

Nurse-led Clinics:
 • Adults Clinic - Mondays, 12.30pm - 2pm, National Burn Centre, Middlemore Hospital.
• Paediatric Clinic - Tuesdays, 1pm - 3pm, Kidz First Surgical, Middlemore Hospital.
