Description
In 2018, Dr Shobi Gopal took over ownership of Glenavon Doctors Surgery, having worked there since 2006.
The practice is well known to the local community and continues to thrive as a traditional, family GP set up with a friendly team, serving patients & families with compassion, care & respect.
Consultations are by appointment only. Our standard consultation time is 15 minutes.
The practice is still open for new patients.
Our Services:
- Comprehensive family medical care with continuity
- Care for Chronic Conditions at subsidized costs where eligible
- Diabetes care including free annual checks and initiating insulin when needed.
- Childhood immunisations
- Cervical screening for eligible women
- Computerised recall system for vaccinations, smears and blood tests
- Accident and injury management
- Contraception services including IUCD / implants
- Nurse led education on management of Diabetes, Asthma, Chronic Lung Diseases etc.
- Driving medicals and insurance medicals
- Travel vaccinations after discussion
After hours:
We partner with Practice Plus to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team.
