Volunteers

The Volunteers provide varying support services to visitors, patients and staff here at Middlemore Hospital. These services range from:

• Assisting with patient enquiries
• Answering telephone calls and messages
• Providing directions to visitors and patients
• Taxi bookings
• Escorting patients and visitors through the Hospital
• Wheelchair Assistance
• Specialty duties

Our friendly Volunteers can be located at the Main Entrance or the Main Emergency Care Entrance.

Hours of Service

   Main Entrance
   8:30am to 8:00pm Monday to Friday
   10.00am to 8.00pm Saturday and Sunday

   Emergency Care
   8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday
