Philosophy of care: As a midwife my aim is to support women to have a positive experience, before, during and after the birth of their child. It is important to me to treat women as individuals, to inform and support them in making choices.

Back up midwife: Rodney Coast Midwives

Birth facilities attended: Home, Warkworth Birthing Centre, Wellsford Birthing Unit, North Shore Hospital or Whangārei Hospital.

General Bio: I have wide experience as a midwife over the last 25 years, both in Britain and in aid agencies around the world. I returned with my husband (my best friend) to NZ in early 2007. My interests are walking, water activities and music. I have clients from Puhoi in the south to Maungaturoto in the north.
