About The Organisation
Parkinson's New Zealand provides support, education and information for people living with Parkinson's and Parkinsonism conditions, their families, carers and health professionals.
Our Divisions and support groups throughout the country offer a wide variety of services to people living with Parkinson's. All Divisions employ professional Field Officers who give advice on Parkinson's, visit people with Parkinson's in their homes as well as run support groups and exercise classes.
The National Office in Wellington provides guidance and training for Divisions, lobbies for better treatments for people with Parkinson's, co-ordinates research, operates a lending library and provides written material such as the quarterly magazine, The Parkinsonian, information pamphlets and other support material.
