Description

The Skin Institute was established in 1994 as a specialist centre focusing on all aspects of clinical dermatology, cosmetic medicine and skin cancer. 
 
The Skin Institute pride themselves on offering clients a comprehensive menu of services and enables tailored treatments to achieve the best possible result for patients as opposed to being limited to a particular product or treatment. Because the Skin Institute has an extensive array of products, treatments and services available, patients can be assured they are getting a prescribed treatment, not one treatment fits all. The Skin Institute doctors work alongside dermatologists, plastic & cosmetic surgeons, general, vein and breast surgeons and other specialists, so patients can be assured they are being prescribed the most effective and appropriate treatment program to obtain their desired results.

The Skin Institute Takapuna, Ponsonby, Parnell, Westgate, Silverdale and Queenstown clinics have recently undergone a comprehensive audit by an independent agency, Quality Health New Zealand, a division of Telarc Sai. All clinics were successfully granted 3 years certification, having met New Zealand Standards 8146:2005 Standard for Day Stay Surgery and Procedures.
