Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery [also known as Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT)], is the area of medicine concerned with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, the head and the neck.
Otolaryngologists (or ENT Surgeons) are specialist surgeons who deal with medical and surgical treatment of conditions of the ears, nose, throat and structures of the head and neck. They are also experts in the management of sleep disorders, breathing (snoring and OSA), management of voice disorders etc.
We are a group of otolaryngologist - head & neck surgeons (ear, nose & throat surgeons), specialising in all areas of otolaryngology head & neck surgery (ear, nose & throat surgery, head & neck oncology, facial plastic surgery etc).
As well as consulting suites for eight specialists, our facilities on the second floor of our purpose built building include a minor procedures room (staffed by an experienced theatre nurse), an onsite CT scanner and onsite audiology (provided by Hearing Advantage). Our clinical nurse specialist (Chris Olsen) is a fully trained ear nurse (providing an ear cleaning service), as well as acting as the theatre nurse in our minor procedures room. Appointments for ear toilet can be made directly with her on (03) 968 3148 or through the secretaries of any of the surgeons.
