Visiting Hours:

Visitors are welcome between 9am and 8pm. If you would like to visit outside of these times, please contact us to arrange.

Description

Kensington Hospital is Northland's only private surgical hospital. It opened in 2001 and offers a relaxing environment which blends modern facilities with traditional personal attention. The hospital has four operating theatres and a 19 bed inpatient suite for patients requiring ongoing care. A daystay unit provides an area for day surgery patients to relax before travelling home.

Visitors are welcome between 9am and 8pm. If you would like to visit outside of these hours please discuss this with our nursing staff.

Carparking is available behind the hospital with access from Islington Street.

There are a number of motels close to the hospital. If you require assistance with accommodation please feel free to phone the hospital receptionists.

Pharmacy

Kensington Pharmacy is situated adjacent to the hospital. It is open:

   Monday - Saturday:  8:30am to 9:00pm

   Sunday and Public Holidays:  10:00am to 9:00pm
