What is Mental Illness?
Mental illness is a clinically significant behaviour or psychological (to do with the mind) disorder that is associated with distress or disability. It is not just the way someone responds to a particular event nor is it limited to the way a person interacts with society.

We accept referrals from: GPs, paediatricians and other professionals, schools, colleges, the courts, NGOs, families and by direct referral. They can be made to the clinic or to a named clinician by fax, phone, E mail (details below) or from our website.

What to Bring to your Appointment

Questionnaires
Once you have made an appointment with us, we ask you to complete some questionnaires and bring them to your appointment. This saves time and your costs and increases the quality and accuracy of the assessment we can provide.

Reports
If you have reports from previous assessments, therapies or treatments please SCAN THEM AND SEND or make COPIES for us and bring them along.
For children and young people at school COPIES of their school reports will be very useful.
