We are a group of friendly orthopaedic surgeons, specialising in all areas of orthopaedics. x-ray, physiotherapy and podiatry is on site. Please phone a consultant on their individual phone numbers to organise an appointment (right hand side of this page).

What is Orthopaedics?
This is an area that deals with conditions of the musculo-skeletal system (disorders of bones and joints of the limbs and spine). The speciality covers a range of different types of conditions starting with congenital (conditions which children are born with) through to degenerative (conditions relating to the wearing out of joints). The field of orthopaedics covers trauma where bones are broken or injuries are sustained to limbs.

Other conditions that sit under the spectrum of orthopaedics are metabolic conditions, neurological and inflammatory conditions.

Referral Expectations

You need to bring with you to your appointment:

1.       Any letters or reports from your doctor or other hospital.
2.       Any X-Rays, CT or MRI films and reports.
3.       A list of all medicines you are taking including herbal and natural remedies.
4.      Your ACC number and the date of injury if you have one.

 

As they will discuss with you, if your treatment requires surgery Mr Street, Mr Taylor and Mr Karpik usually work with Anaesthesia Auckland Ltd. In particular, they usually work with the following anaesthetists:

Travel Directions

Take the Greenlane exit off motorway and head toward Remuera. Turn right at first lights into Racecourse Avenue, turn right at Palm Tree roundabout, drive straight through to next roundabout, Ascot Office Park sign straight ahead.  When entering driveway turn left for basement carpark, must park in medical centre carparks.
