Breast Enlargement
Surgery to increase breast size involves inserting silicone gel or salt water (saline) implants under the chest muscle or skin.
The procedure involves making an incision in the armpit (saline) or under the breast (gel filled) via which the implant is inserted. The surgery is usually performed under general anaesthesia (you will sleep through it) and it will probably take 1–2 hours. You will probably be able to go home the next day. You will need to arrange for someone else to drive you home.
You may need to take some medication for pain relief for 2-3 days and you should rest for a few days after the surgery. You will probably be able to return to work after 7-10 days. It will take 12 months for the scars to fade.
