Our mission is to walk alongside our whaanau uplifting their mana and mauri ora to enhance holistic health, security, and wellbeing - providing resources to empower them not only to survive but to thrive.
We offer transitional housing, short term and support for wahine and tamariki to locate permanent, long term accommodation.

Services Provided

Social Work

Our qualified social workers provide free, confidential support to individuals and whaanau impacted by family harm. We walk alongside you to ensure your safety, wellbeing, and rights are upheld. Our social workers can: Advocate for you with agencies such as Oranga Tamariki, Kainga Ora, MSD, Court and other NGO agencies or education providers. Support you through parenting challenges, separation, or the end of a relationship. Help you access your full and correct entitlements and connect with housing, budgeting, and community supports. Work with you on safety planning and practical solutions if you are experiencing or have experienced family harm and so much more. Our social workers are professionally registered and adhere to the Social Workers Registration Board Code of Conduct, ensuring that all practice is safe, ethical, and whaanau-centred.

We provide Transitional Accommodation for women and children based in Pukekohe but open to all.

Budgeting services help you and your whānau look after your money and give you advice on spending, saving and managing debt.

We can offer support and advocacy to navigate WINZ, Corrections/court, health services and getting your children into schooling and so on.

Our team can assist with: Safety planning and risk assessment to keep whaanau safe and facilitating restorative processes with whaanau if needed. Connecting with Police, Family Court, Oranga Tamariki, and other services. Support through relationship separation, protection orders, and parenting arrangements. Advocacy and guidance to help you access your entitlements and services. Referrals to counselling, drug and alcohol support, and other wellbeing services.

Family / whānau support

We run a weekly Koha Shed on Tuesdays, from 10am - 12noon (weather permitting) where donated household items are freely available to those in need. If the Koha Shed is closed, it is notified on our Facebook page. Visitors are invited to contribute a non-perishable item as they are able, that can, in turn, be shared with others in the community. We also provide low cost Skinny Jump modems
