In this care home, we offer both residential care and specialist dementia care.
Even for the most able retiree, there comes a time when help is needed with the basics of day-to-day living. Family members often step in to provide support, however there is always a limit to how much time can be committed and the level of care they can provide.
Pāpāmoa Beach Village has a brand-new state-of-the-art care home, adding to our new standard in aged care in the Bay of Plenty. Based on a more integrative homestead model of care, this is vastly different from the traditional institutional model offered in many care homes. Residents live in smaller groups of no more than 12 care suites, with each group having their own kitchen, dining room and lounge area – reflecting a modern home environment. The boutique-like care home, with its friendlier layout, creates a much more intimate and personalised environment for the residents and their families.
Pāpāmoa Beach Village is Metlifecare's first village with purpose-built dementia care. Catering to the elderly requiring D3 (secure) level of dementia care, the safe and secure unit provides a homely, supportive environment to our residents, specific to their specialised needs.

In this care home, the accommodation supplement pricing ranges from a minimum of $54.63 to a maximum of $84.05 per day. This pricing covers additional comforts and facilities over and above the standard provision for residential care.

Family and support for residents is very important to their overall wellbeing. While we encourage visitors between these hours we welcome visitors at any time if the resident requests or needs family at other times.
For residents who are very unwell, we encourage loved ones to stay over-night as they wish.
