Bupa Mary Shapley Care Home is located in a peaceful, sunny area of central Whakatāne

Just a short walk to the local shops and cafes, ideal for family outings. Our gardens are our triumph, having won several awards in the Whakatāne Best Garden Competition over the last few years. They are a wonderful place to sit and relax, enjoying the sun, colour and friendship of the other residents.

Bupa Short Stays

If you are caring for a family member or friend and feel that you need some respite, you can use Bupa’s short stay services. We’ll manage everything while you recharge and have your ‘me time’. Our short stay services can range from a few days to a few weeks. Admission is dependent on bed availability.
