Sunhaven Home and Hospital is situated in a quiet suburban street with secure perimeters. This provides our residents with independence and freedom to move around the home and safely within our grounds. Sunhaven home specialises in Stage 3 Dementia, Stage 5 Psycho Geriatric and Mental Health levels of care.
Coming to terms with the devastation of a dementia diagnosis is not easy for friends, relatives and whānau. Our expert team is well qualified to support you.
The management and staff aim to provide optimum care for our residents, offering respect and friendliness whilst meeting their physical and psychological needs.
Our team of nurses and caregivers are available 24/7, along with a dedicated team of support services if required including: dietitian, physiotherapist, podiatrist and hairdresser.
Services include:
Mental Health Care - fully trained staff and weekly NP visits
Respite care - available
Palliative care - is available with support when required.
