Bupa Mary Shapley Care Home is located in a peaceful, sunny area of central Whakatāne, just a short walk to the local shops and cafes. You can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air in our award-winning gardens, which have regularly taken the top prize in the Whakatāne Best Garden competition. Our carers love getting to know you, your family and your likes and dislikes in order to make your day just how you like it to be.

Bupa Short Stays

If you are caring for a family member or friend and feel that you need some respite, you can use Bupa’s short stay services. We’ll manage everything while you recharge and have your ‘me time’. Our short stay services can range from a few days to a few weeks. Admission is dependent on bed availability.
