Description

The Nurse Maude Care Home is a 75-bed facility specialising in long-term hospital level, residential, respite, and palliative care.

How do I access this service?

Referral

Access to aged residential care is usually by referral from a GP, public hospital, or another health professional. A Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) assessment through Older Person’s Health is required to determine the appropriate level of care.

If hospital-level care is approved, eligibility for Ministry of Health funding will be assessed, including a means test through Work and Income (WINZ). Our team can help guide you through this process.
