Allevia Kensington Hospital is Northland's only private surgical hospital. It opened in 2001 and offers a relaxing environment which blends modern facilities with traditional personal attention. The hospital has five operating theatres performing over 4,000 procedures per year. Patients staying overnight or longer are accommodated in our spacious and comfortable Inpatient Suite. A Day Stay Unit provides an area for day patients to relax before travelling home.

Our dedicated kitchen provides healthy choices. Inpatients will be asked to select from the varied menu each day. Our menus include diabetic, vegetarian and gluten free options. Our Day Stay patients are offered a light snack during their recovery.
