Pelvic Health Physiotherapy for Women & Men Catherine is a dedicated pelvic health physiotherapist with advanced postgraduate training. In 2023, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy through the University of Melbourne. In 2024, she continued her studies with the University of South Australia, to achieve a Professional Certificate in the Conservative Management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse. As part of this programme, Catherine is also fully credentialled in vaginal pessary fitting, working in collaboration with patients’ GPs & specialists. Catherine supports both women & men with a wide range of pelvic health concerns, including persistent pelvic pain (such as pain related to endometriosis or dyspareunia), pelvic organ prolapse, menopause-related changes, bowel dysfunction, incontinence, and recovery from pelvic surgery. She also has a strong focus on pre- & postnatal care, including maternal birth injuries covered by ACC. With a comprehensive background in musculoskeletal sports & exercise physiotherapy, Catherine places a strong emphasis on tailored exercise prescription as part of her treatment approach. This is especially valuable during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, & for managing long-term pelvic health conditions. Her expertise helps patients build confidence in movement & return to an active lifestyle safely & effectively. Catherine also works one day a week in a specialist pelvic health clinic alongside a gynaecologist, further enriching her hands-on experience in this field.
