Philosophy of care: In my practice as a midwife I enjoy working in partnership with women throughout their pregnancy journey, ensuring individualised care. I try to keep labour and delivery as natural as possible while taking risk factors into consideration, always aiming for a healthy outcome for mother and baby.

General Bio: From April 2020 I will be retired from LMC work and only providing locum for other LMC midwives. I have 25 years midwifery experience.The past fourteen years as a caseloading midwife caring for women from early pregnancy to six weeks after delivery. Being a lead maternity carer is a very rewarding career and a great privilege to give support to women through this special time in their lives. I have experience in caring for women with medical and obstetric complications and with women of all ages from teens to early forties. In my practice as a midwife I enjoy working in partnership with women throughout their pregnancy, ensuring individualised care. I aim to keep labour and delivery as natural as possible while taking presenting circumstances into consideration, always aiming for a healthy outcome for mother and baby. As a lactation consultant I am keen to assist mothers to fully breastfeed. I have a wonderful back up team of midwives.
