Through continuity and partnership my aim is to empower women throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. I support choice ensuring safe decision making as well as recognising the need for input from other health professionals as required. Childbirth is life changing; as a midwife it is a privilege to support women and their families. I feel my role is to help nurture women to become confident mothers, trusting their innate ability to birth and parent. I am well supported with a group of like-minded midwives who support each other for time off.
