Dr Caleb Lawrence is a New Zealand trained specialist orthodontist, and is one of three Māori (Ngãti Hine/Ngãti Maniapoto) specialist orthodontists, registered with the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists. At a young age he aspired to become a dentist and after high school, moved to Dunedin to pursue dentistry at the University of Otago.
In 2012, he graduated with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS). After graduating, Caleb then worked for the university as a dental house surgeon, followed by a couple of years working in both the public and private sectors in Queensland, Australia.
In 2016, Caleb was accepted into the orthodontic residency program at the University of Otago, where he completed his Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent Orthodontics) over the next three years.
Since graduating in 2018, Caleb has locumed throughout New Zealand, where he has had the opportunity to work in a range of different practices and environments throughout the country.
Caleb is passionate about his work and prides himself on building a great rapport with both his patients and their families. He enjoys the challenges of orthodontics and continually strives to maintain a high standard of care and detail for all those under his care.
