Cancer Network Group Service, Community Health

Have you experienced a diagnosis of breast cancer, recently or in the past, and would like to speak with someone who understands, knows ‘how it is’ and can provide information and reassurance?

Breast Cancer Support offers community-based services provided by trained volunteers who have experienced breast cancer themselves and can support others from a positive, personal perspective.

BCS services include:

  • individual support nationwide (via telephone, online, or in person by arrangement)
  • Christchurch support group
  • Waiheke Island support group
  • nationwide support and information via a toll free number
  • an informative website

Waiheke Island Support Group - meets 2nd Tuesday of month (Feb - Nov) at 11am, Estuary Cottage, 2/11 Moa Ave, Oneroa.

Christchurch Support Group -  this is a social group meeting for walks, outings, and get togethers on a Sunday each month. Please call us on 0800 273 222 for information.
