Cancer Society of NZ is the leading organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence and impact of cancer and ensuring equity of service in line with The Treaty.

The Horowhenua Centre of the Cancer Society acts as a base providing support for cancer clients and their whānau. We cover the area from Te Horo Beach to Himatangi Beach.

 Te Waka Hau Ora/ Supportive Care has a background in Social Work or Nursing.

We are able to assist with transport to treatment, counselling, one to one support, Life After Cancer workshops, Peer Support Groups run by volunteers, information booklets, advocacy with MSD and massage post treatment (with a Massage Therapist).
