Dallas is the lead Rongoā Māori practitioner at Amaia. With deep roots in te ao Māori and a lifelong commitment to holistic wellbeing, Dallas brings a wealth of experience. Her mahi is grounded in tikanga Māori, karakia, and the guiding values of whānau, wairua, and connection to whenua.

How to Access Our Services Through ACC
To receive Rongoā Māori services through ACC, you can follow one of the options below:
Referral Pathway
Ask your GP, Physiotherapist, Osteopath, or Chiropractor to include our services as part of your treatment plan.
If you’re already receiving counselling under a sensitive claim, you can also request that our services be added.
Once your referral is in place, contact your ACC Case Manager directly if you have one, or call:

There is no cost for ACC sessions.

It's culturally grounded care that weaves tikanga Māori, mātauranga Māori, te reo Māori, and te ao Māori through all aspects of the service. We respect that these aspects embrace ngā taonga tuku iho (intergenerational gifts and knowledge handed down from tupuna Māori). We see rongoā Māori in the wider context of traditional Māori healing methodologies. ACC don't consider healing techniques from non-Māori cultural traditions, such as reiki or hyperbaric oxygen treatment, part of rongoā Māori. Even if they're provided by rongoā Māori practitioners.

Whangārei Clinic
Our Whangārei clinic is located at 25/5 Rathbone Street, right in the heart of the city centre. Convenient on-street parking is available directly outside the clinic and along Rathbone Street. Please note that parking fees and time limits apply from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am to 2:00pm, with rates of $2.00 per hour in Zone 1 areas. For longer visits, nearby carparks such as Vinery Lane and Water Street offer additional parking options.
Papakura Clinic
Our Papakura clinic is situated at Nelson Street. There is free on-street parking available along Nelson Street and adjacent side streets.
