Free Headwear for Medical Hair Loss

Hat Tricks is a subsidiary of Simply Wigs, a Ministry of Health Approved Supplier of Headwear and Wigs. NZ residents who lose their hair due to a medical condition or certain cancer treatments such as chemotherapy, are eligible for a subsidy for temporary hair loss of $408.89 towards purchasing wigs and headwear.

Hat Tricks has a wide range of high quality, functional headwear that will protect you from the sun in summer and keep you warm in winter.

Simply go to our new website www.hat-tricks.co.nz and follow the directions to self qualify your subsidy. Then choose the items you prefer or pick one of our packs that have a selection of different types of headwear that are lightweight, packable, UPF50+, warm, practical and suitable for sensitive scalps and include delivery to your door.

If you have spent your subsidy on a wig or don't qualify in terms of hair loss, you can still purchase our fabulous headwear and make payment through the normal channels of credit/debit card and bank transfer.

If you have a permanent hair loss condition such as alopecia or have had scalp surgery or cranial radiotherapy, you may be eligible for a larger subsidy. Please call Cheryl to discuss this.

COVID-19: We are lucky to be able to supply headwear, wigs and hairpieces through virtual and remote consultations, online purchasing with subsidy, credit card and bank transfer payments and via contactless delivery to your door.
