MedicAlert® provides secure access to your vital personal and medical information whenever and wherever it is needed by clinicians or emergency services in New Zealand or when you are travelling abroad. Additionally, your next of kin or emergency contact information is also available.
If you have an Advance Directive or Care Plan, Enduring Power of Attorney or other important Health Related Documents you should have a MedicAlert ID.
MedicAlert is an NHI user (Sched 2) on the Health Information Privacy Code, and also a registered charity with IRD donee status CC#25227.
