Testicular Cancer New Zealand

Cancer Network Group Service

Today

Description

Testicular Cancer NZ has two main objectives:

  • to educate people about testicular cancer and encourage awareness of the disease
  • to support men, and their families, who are going through diagnosis and treatment.

The organisation is connected to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand, the main charity in New Zealand working in the area of male-specific cancers.

Education and Awareness

Testicular cancer is primarily a disease in younger men and we provide information to make them aware of the need to self-check regularly. Information is available on line, through brochures and posters and through the helpline.

Men with testicular cancer have to make vitally important decisions about their treatment. They may also have to make important choices and adjustments to enjoy a full life. To do this they need relevant and current information to help them make the decision that is best for them. It is not our role to give you medical advice, but we will guide you to the most appropriate information available.

We have a helpline available if you need support or would like some more information. Call us on 0800 660 800.
