Vocational Services

Everyone has something to offer and can play an important role in their community, but it can be difficult to know where you fit in and how to get there.  Vocational Services can help you to actively participate in your community in lots of different ways.  We will work with you to identify your strengths and passions and help you to set goals.

You might want to find work and need help creating a CV, or you might want to meet new people by taking an art class or checking out the Community Garden.  The Vocational Service will support you to put yourself out there, have fun and achieve your goals.

Our Community Programmes Co-ordinator organises regular events and activities, which are great ways to meet new people, have fun and learn new skills.  You could be taking part in all sorts of great activities:

  • Art and music classes
  • Playing pool at the local RSA
  • Going horse-riding
  • Playing badminton
  • Helping out at the Community Garden
  • ‘Tasters’ – an exciting new mystery event, each month
