Green Prescription (GRx) is a free health promotion programme which aims to support you to make positive health changes to your lifestyle.
GRx aims to improve the health and wellbeing of adults through physical activity and nutrition support. Through education, removal of barriers, and development of personal skills GRx aims to enhance physical, mental and social wellbeing.
Once referred, our GRx Team at Sport Taranaki will contact you and together, work towards an action plan to support the changes you have identified as important for you. We are able to support with encouragement, advice and resources to help get you started on a journey to a healthier lifestyle.
GRx involves predominantly phone support though face-to-face consultations are available. We will work with you to find the best solution and support for your circumstances.
