Description
Nurse Maude Homecare provides personalised support to help people remain independent, safe, and well in their own homes and communities.
Services are tailored to individual needs and delivered by trained support workers and nurses, working alongside clients, whānau, GPs, and other health professionals. Care may be short-term or ongoing and is guided by an individual care plan that is regularly reviewed. Whether you are recovering from injury or surgery or wanting to live safely in your own home, one of our registered nurses will partner with you and your whānau/family to develop a care plan that suits you.
Our home care services are available in the South Island and Wellington and include:
- personal care
- medication support
- meal preparation
- managing chronic conditions
- domestic assistance
Staff
Nurse Maude Home Support services are primarily delivered by skilled, trained support workers who provide practical assistance and personal care to help people live safely and independently at home.
Support workers are supported by registered nurses and clinical teams, who provide oversight, assessment, and nursing care when required. All staff are trained, police-vetted, and supported through ongoing professional development.
The team works in partnership with clients, whānau, and other health professionals to deliver care that is responsive, respectful, and tailored to individual needs.

Referral
Access to this service is by referral from a GP or other health professional. Referrals are assessed to confirm eligibility and ensure the service is appropriate for the person’s needs.
