Description
Support and recovery social work, counselling and education for adults, adolescents and children in areas of sexual violence.
Age: 5 years and over. We will provide support for caregivers of children under 5 who have experienced sexual harm.
Region: Manawatū, Horowhenua, Tararua
Description:
Abuse and Rape Crisis Support Manawatū provides:
- Individual Support - for survivors of sexual violence, recent or historic, and their families including information on legal and medical procedures and court support services.
- Counselling - for children, adolescents and adults who have experienced sexual violence and their families.
- Voyage Programme - programme for children (5-11 years) who have experienced the effects of abuse (sexual, physical, emotional or psychological)
- Community Education - for community organisations, workplaces and health related areas
All our services are FREE

It is encouraged that you call to make an appointment.
Referrals are not required but are welcome.

COVID-19
During periods of high levels of COVID-19 infection rate we may provide services remotely. We will still accept referrals but clients may be contacted by phone and face-to-face service delivery will be reduced other than for crisis situations.
