Description
Anglican Care Waiapu is a not for profit organisation, and is registered under the Charitable Trusts Act 2005. We deliver a range of services and programmes for all ages, throughout the Bay of Plenty, Hawke’s Bay, Tararua and Tairāwhiti regions.
We have 22 services throughout our locations, employing around 150 staff. In addition there is a faithful community of around 150 volunteers throughout the region who loyally give time each week to help our communities and parishes.

Growing Through Grief provides grief education programmes for and within our community. Our service responds to needs of the community in a diverse, equitable and responsive way, offering space for shared experiences and reducing the feeling of isolation and loneliness in grief as well as increasing grief literacy in Aotearoa. We have programmes for Tamariki (children), rangatahi (youth) and pakeke (adults) as well as community workshops and events. Learn more here
