All children are entitled to an education. Strengthen your pre-school child/children’s future by ensuring they have access to high quality early learning opportunities. Early Childhood Education should be a positive experience for the parents and their children. Our Community Team will work with you to ensure your child's early learning opportunities fit well with your expectations as their parent and their first teacher. If you are not ready for your child to attend an external ECE Centre, then we will work with you to provide this at home with all the resources you need, until you are ready to consider the next steps eg: ECE learning outside of home.

Seniors social group: Matua LeLei

Matua LeLei is our senior social group, we provide fun activities, morning tea and companionship for matua in our community. Transport can be arranged, all free of charge. These are held fortnightly.

Afiafi Kai Auloa Katikati: Shared meals and health promotion info sharing on Tuesday evenings from 6pm-7pm.

Monday Matters: Coffee, tea and a chat to start your week off. A morning with interesting and relevant topics ranging from specific Budget advice to health eg: Gout, Podiatry, healthy living etc.

Outreach health clinics: We usually provide these on request - if your organisation would like more information about these, give us a call or email.

Pasifika Cultural Training Workshops, Workplace experience and Volunteer Support

• We have a series of workshops that have been designed to introduce basic but highly relevant Pasifika information, which are tailored to meet the needs of your Team and organisation. We facilitate these workshops in partnership with members of our Pasifika community. 
• We provide workplace experience for people who want to upskill in areas such as health, social services and education. We do this by providing “real-time” opportunities for people to get involved, such as in our Cultural training workshops or our Family-centred services. We can also provide work placements for Nursing and Social Work Students. 
• We support our volunteers by providing training and upskilling opportunities such as First Aid and Vulnerable Children’s Act training. In addition to this, we support our Volunteers to source employment opportunities. 
• We also provide self-awareness workshops from a Pasifika lens for youth, through our Lumana'i programme.

Kaiawhina Community Support

Our Kaiawhina will support you and where necessary will work with others in our team to facilitate access to the most appropriate service Provider for you, if we are unable to assist. 

We work alongside various community agencies to provide Outreach services that are easily accessed by clients. If your organisation would like to improve access to your services for members of your and location can make a difference, get in contact with us now. We may have space in our premises that may be suitable for you to improve access to your services.

We also work alongside our Pasifika community to plan and host our annual Kilikiti Aho Fiafia.

The Telehealth Clinic we provide is in collaboration with Nga Kakano Foundation Family Health Services.

Provision of information, guidance, advice, and resources.

We will also provide Pasifika Professional Learning Development cultural workshops for your organisation, specifically tailored for your organisation.
