Description

Kindred Family Services offers free support for people and whānau impacted by family harm. Our services are available from Taupaki to Makarau and all communities in between including Kaukapakapa, South Head, Helensville, Waimauku, Muriwai, Riverhead, Kumeū and Huapai

Our Family Harm Service is here for those who have experienced abuse in a family or whānau relationship. We offer a safe, non-judgemental space to talk, support with safety planning, and help understanding systems (e.g. protection or custody order options).

Our women’s refuge is also available for those needing an urgent safety response.

Our Therapeutic Service provide therapy for tamariki (aged 5+), rangatahi, and adults who have experienced, witnessed, or been exposed to family harm.

We also offer two therapeutic programmes:

  • Wāhine Toa –  supporting women’s wellbeing and empowerment,
  • Pathfinders – helping tamariki with emotional regulation and decision-making.

We’re here to support, listen, and help whānau toward safety and healing. Our door is open so feel free to pop in.
