Description
We are committed to those affected by dementia being able to access all their rights as New Zealand citizens.
We advocate for all people affected by dementia to be understood, have their needs met, to be able to live fulfilling lives, and have access to appropriate care and support whatever their situation.
We support local Alzheimers NZ organisations throughout New Zealand. A local organisation can provide you with information about services in your area and how to access them. Services may include: support groups for carers and family, support groups for people with dementia, home visits, carer education programmes, community education, volunteer programmes, library, resources and day and activity programmes.
