Anamata is a Youth One Stop Shop (YOSS). Our experienced and friendly nurses, doctors, and youth workers provide a confidential, culturally inclusive and accessible health service at low to no cost to young people and their whanau.

We specialise in youth health and education & sexual and reproductive health and provide a wide range of services including:

  • FREE sexual health checks and treatment for all ages
  • Contraception and family planning support
  • Cervical screening and women's health 
  • Support and information for pregnant teens
  • Youth development and education
  • Youth Advisory Group
  • Diversity group
  • Health promotion

Anamata runs drop in clinics Monday to Thursday in Taupo and every Wednesday in Turangi. We also provide school health based services to Taupo Nui a Tia College, Tauhara College, Tongariro School and Te Kura o Hirangi.

Free sexual health checks but there may be a cost for some procedures.

Nurse Practitioner: Wednesday 9.30am - 11.00am
Nurse: Monday 9.00am - 3.00pm and Thursday 9.00am - 3.00pm

Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College Clinics*
Nurse Practitioner: Wednesday 12.30pm - 2.00pm
Nurse: Tuesday, Wednesday  9.00am - 3.00pm

Te Kura o Hirangi*
Nurse: Monday 11.00am - 2.00pm

Tongariro School*
Nurse: Wednesday 10.00am - 2.00pm
