Description
Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa emphasises partnership with the community to achieve better health for present and for future generations. We provide a range of services including support for making workplaces health promoting environments (includes environmental scan and advice/screening/displays/education sessions), schools (GetWize2Health teacher resource and training/tuckshop advice and support), healthy eating on a budget train the trainer (Cook'nKiwi) and community gardening set-up support and ongoing advice (Gardens4Health). We are involved in research, including specialty recruitment in the community. Diabetes Foundation Aotearoa also specialises in resource and programme design, evaluation and research in the community, and project management services. Note: DCSS Quality Improvement Audit provided to GP Practices in the CMH area closed in June 2018. Duplicate reports and MOPs certificates are available for a limited time.
