Hospice Taranaki provides a range of community or hospice inpatient palliative care services for patients and their family and whānau. The patient will be living with a life limiting illness. These services are offered regardless of age, ethnicity, means or religion. Patients who have Hospice Taranaki involved in their care may have cancer or other life limiting non-cancer illnesses.
Palliative care involves supporting and helping the person to live as comfortably and fully as the person feels their illness allows.
