Services Provided
Family / whānau support
The Society has a health educator with many years' experience working with people with kidney disease. They understand and can help people with problems, questions and worries around their condition and living with chronic kidney disease. Support is free, and available for people with kidney disease as well as their family/whānau in the regions we cover: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti and Hawke's Bay.
This support is complimentary to but independent from services provided by hospital renal services and therefore people can talk to us in confidence. No referral is needed - people can just contact us by phone, by email or come and see us in person.
